She was predeceased by: her parents, Connie Irvin and Myrtis Irvin; her husband William Patterson; and her siblings, Basil Irvin, Kenneth Irvin, Flavil Irvin, Sue Pittman and Sylvia Louis Orr.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Patterson (Claudine) of Martin, TN and Allison Barnwell (David) of Gerald. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to Susan G. Komen for the Cure are preferred.
