He was predeceased by: his parents, Gathel McClaskey and Bertha McClaskey (Leighty); his brother Jack McClaskey; and his son Timothy McClaskey. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Myers; his children, Rick Nielson (Cheryl), Joe McClaskey (Jesseca) and Jennifer Caldwell; his siblings, Jim McClaskey (Joyce) and Donna Traw; and his grandchildren, Ashley Spencer, Ryan Gordon, Shelby DeFreece, Jessica McClaskey, Cody McClaskey, Grace Hanson, Angela McClaskey and Ricky Dean Nielson. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
