She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Ralph Halbert and Hallie Halbert (Nipper); her son Larry Akers; her grandson Christopher Brian Akers; her sisters, Wilma Merritt and Zelda Halbert; and her daughter-in-law Peggy Akers.
She is survived by: her son Lester Akers of Richwoods. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
