It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winona Marie Brown of Richmond, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Saylor and Helen Marie Brown (Tebor); her stepfather David Shelton (Tore); her great grandchild Wade Swope; her brother Donald Edward Brown; and her nephew David Wesley Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Robert William Gross, Jr. of Richmond, Stephen Luke Brown (Mary Vandevyvere) of Richmond, Gena Lorraine Shade (James Schreier) of Kansas City and Mendy Marie Malott (Russ) of Richmond; her grandchildren, Matthew Shade, Ashleigh Hogan (Rocky), Tiffany Swope (Andrew) and Trevor Malott (Jourdin); her great grandchildren, Lileighan Hogan, Justin Hogan, Rocko Hogan, Collin Swope, Colt Swope and Willow Malott; her great-nieces, Meghan Carter, Katie Brown and Sydney Brown; her nephew Hunter Brown; and her sister-in-law Lynda Brown. She is also survived by her family and friends.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Richmond First Baptist Church.
