We bid farewell to Virginia Bassett of Richmond, Missouri, born in Brookfield, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 19, 2024 at the age of 67. Virginia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Virginia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Virginia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her nephew Michael Kornbrust. She is survived by: her children, Ross Bassett and Rhea of Hamilton, Missouri; her granddaughter Eleanor Bassett of Atchison, Kansas; her sister Nancy Stiltz (Carl) of Brookfield, Missouri; and her friend Jan Orr of Linneus, Missouri. She is also survived by brother, sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Delaney Funeral (1720 N Missouri Ave, Marceline, MO 64658).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Harland Sprouse Veterinary Clinic to spay and neuter animals in need.
