We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Vernon Ray Smith of Richmond, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Gene and Alice Maxine Smith (Boling); and his brother Larry Smith. He is survived by: his children, Bryanna Doumit (Seth) of Washington, Shyanne Smith of Oregon, Brooklynn Smith of Washington, Sueanna Hinde of Texas, Steve Cowick (Candace) of Blue Springs and Micah LeBouef of Richmond; and his brother Howard Smith (Teri) of Kansas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thurman Funeral Home - Richmond (507 E Main St, Richmond, MO 64085). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Odessa Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
