He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth E. Abbott and Nessie Abbott (Brock); and his wife Debra Louise "Debbie" Kendrick of Excelsior Springs. He is survived by: his children, Alan Mullikin (Jennifer) of Cameron, Jessica Gardner (Randy Jr.) of Excelsior Springs and Melanie Edens of Raytown; his grandchildren, Haley, Tristian, Kendrick, Slade, Parker and Finnegan; his great grandchildren, Maison, Ember, Evelyn and Vhada; and his siblings, Kenneth Abbott of Lexington and Nancy Edens (Jim) of Richmond.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Thurman Funeral Home - Richmond (507 E Main St, Richmond, MO 64085). A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Richmond Memory Gardens (1403 E Main St, Richmond, MO 64085).
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Farris Theatre.
