We bid farewell to Stephen Lynn Hamm Sr. of Richmond, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 21, 2025 at the age of 59. Stephen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Jean and Janet Kae Hamm (McDaniel); his children, Holly Clevenger (Norman) of Richmond, Stephen Hamm, Jr. (Kolyn) of Richmond and James "Jimmy" Hamm (Hannah) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Madison Clevenger, McKenna Clevenger, Kayla Hamm, Emma Hamm, Stephen Greyson Hamm, Millie Hamm, Beckett Hamm and Tucker Hamm; and his siblings, Teddy Hamm of Richmond, Michael Hamm of Carrollton, Scott Hamm of Braymer and Jennifer Sherman of Paola, KS. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thurman Funeral Home - Richmond (507 E Main St, Richmond, MO 64085). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Richmond Memory Gardens (1403 E Main St, Richmond, MO 64085).
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Morton Union Church or the Ray County Fair Association.
