He is survived by: his spouse Linda O'Dell of Richmond; his mother Loise Hershey of Marshall, IL; his children, David Childress of Willow Hill, IL, Beth Walker (Rodney) of Lexington and Sandra Hires (Mike) of Willow Hill, IL; his sisters, Carleen Hammond of Casey, IL and Kay Hill (Jim) of Marshall, IL; his father Carl Childress; and his siblings, Harvey Childress, Robert Dean Childress and Maxine Caroline. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
