It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rilla Joyce Simmons of Richmond, Missouri, born in Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Daniel McBee and Zelma McBee (King) of Virginia. She is survived by: her husband Robert William "Bob" Simmons of Longmont, CO; her sons, Daniel (Teri Simmons) and David (Tammy Jo Simmons); her grandchildren, Kayla Vaughan (Colin), Dalton W. J. Lightner, Kristen Lynch (Matt), Kelsea Ealey (Zach Brendle), Lauren Simmons and Jillian Simmons; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Brendle and Charlee Jo Lynch.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Cotton Creek Christian Ministries.
