He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Stanton and Erma Stanton (Kuhlmann); his daughter Linda Derganz; and his sister Anna Mae Gerst. He is survived by: his former wife Maurine Elaine Bock of Nashville, IA; his wife Karen L. McKee of Richmond; his children, Kenny Stanton (Carrie) of Scotch Grove, IA and Debbie Taylor (Roger) of Baldwin, IA; his son-in-law Kenny Derganz of Maquoketa, IA; his daughter ReDeana Arth (Daniel Nielson) of Richmond, MO; and his sister Lola DeMoss (Claude Vanover) of Lost Nation, IA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richard Edward "Bud" Stanton Memorial Fund.
