She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Roosevelt and Mary Elizabeth Cook (Skiles); her former husband Emil Eugene Loyd of Richmond; her son Charles Lester Loyd; and her siblings, Joseph Cook, Virginia Forson and Betty Mae Cook.
She is survived by: her sister Ruth Hendrix of Richmond; her nieces and nephews, Carolene Nolker (Gary) of Richmond, Marsha Tracy (Clarence) of Liberty, Mary Turner (Tim) of Cocoa Beach, FL, Allen Hendrix of Richmond and John Sanders (Christy) of Kansas City; and her husband Branson.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond First Baptist Church.
