She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lee and Alma Mae "MeMe" Waller (Compton); and her brother-in-law Charles Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Carl Allen Rowan of Knoxville; her sons, Robert Rowan (Nancy) of Knoxville and Roger Rowan of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Daniel "Danny" Rowan (Jamie), Jeff Rowan (Megan), Megan Rives (Josh) and Kaitlyn Rowan; her great grandchildren, Noah Rowan, Jack Rowan, Adilyn Rives and Colin Rives; and her sister Esther Simmons of Richmond. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Kincaid Cemetery or the donor's choice.
