She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert L. Benton of Kansas City, KS; her sons, Timothy John Benton and Thomas Matthew Benton; and her siblings, Howard Killian and Virginia Jelnick.
She is survived by: her son Mark Aaron Benton (Sheri) of Claycomo; and her sister Sue Levi of Kansas City. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great -grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
