He is survived by: his wife Mary Elaine Riddell-Hickman of Richmond; his children, Marcus Burke (Rikki) of Independence, MO, Kevin Burke (Tammy) of Fort Hood, TX, Marisa Burke of San Diego, CA and Katie Burke Proffitt (Kyle) of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Sean Burke (Megan), Griffin Burke, Tristan Burke, Aianna Johnson and Nolen Proffitt; his great grandchildren, Hadleigh Burke and Kamdin Burke; his stepson Scott Brown of Orrick; and his siblings, Gary Griffin (Margie) of Bull Shoals, AR and Francie Blackford of Lenexa, KS..
