With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry P. Palmer of Richmond, Missouri, who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Clay and Wilma Elizabeth Palmer (Van Oster); his granddaughter JoJo Soptic; and his siblings, Wilbur Palmer and Stella Gray.
He is survived by: his close friend Dortha "Maxine" Hurshman; his children, Timothy Howard (Heather) of Kansas City, David Hurshman (Andrea Phillips) of Kansas City, Travis Hurshman of Orrick, Damon Hurshman (Nucoal) of Warsaw, Wendy Gardner (Keith Calvert) of Richmond, Melissa Heath (Billy) of Richmond, Lori Palmer (Guy Mangus) of Glenrock, WY and Jennifer Miller of Casper, WY; his grandchildren, Lauralei Loftin Howard, Cayden Howard, Kendyl Howard, Storm Howard, Cayse Howard, Kaleb Howard, Anissa Howard, Grayson Howard, Joshua Hurshman, Cameron Hurshman, Hayden Phillips, Dalton Holloway, Chelsea Hurshman, Courtney Hurshman, Elijah Hurshman, Sally Soptic, Raven Weaver, Destini Hurshman, Christopher Gardner (Jenny), J. Derek Gardner (Bailie), Shane Pearl Battagler (Breann), Alexis Bokarae, Alysha Heath, Jesse Heath, Summer Heath, Braeden Mangus, Bayleigh Kate Mangus, Brookelynn Miller and Jacob Miller; his great grandchildren, James Dewayne Gardner, Delilah Rose Gardner, Kayden Holloway, Clayton Holloway, Brylee Holloway, Emmalynn Leabo and Dalilah Leabo; and his siblings, Melvin of Richmond, Billy Palmer of Richmond and Melba Rodenberg (Tom) of Richmond. He is also survived by 5 great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Fisher House for V.A. family's to stay at.
