He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawerence Engler and Frances Engler (Lindley); and his son Troy Engler. He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Barnett of Richmond; his son Mark Engler (Maria) of Mt. Vernon; his brothers, Lanny Engler of Westbrook, MN, Ronald J. Engler (Kathy) of Slayton, MN and Robert Engler (Connie) of Roseau, MN; his grandsons, Brent Engler (Jeanna) of Mt. Vernon and Joshua Engler (Ashlynn) of Aurora; his great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Kelby and Ivy Engler; and also Elverta Davis of Sedalia.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church or Ray County Vets. Memorial contributions can be drop off or mailed to in care of the family to Thurman Funeral home 507 East Main – P.O. 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
