She was predeceased by: her parents, Orra Smith and Lillie Mae Slade, Jr. (Rowan); and her brother Orra Smith "Smitty" Slade, III. She is survived by: her sisters, Karen Slade of Richmond and Kimberly Dodson of Richmond; her nephews, Johnathan Slade (Tricia) of Richmond and Justin Dodson (Angie) of Richmond; her great-nephews, Grayson Dodson, Jacob Slade and Jonah Slade; and her cousins, John Hayes and Jan Archer.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
