With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Jo Abbott of Richmond, Missouri, who passed away on June 18, 2023 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father George Finley; her sister Karla Utley; and her nephew Christopher Utley. She is survived by: her mother Barbara Finley (Hardin) of Richmond; her husband Larry Abbott of Richmond; her children, Aron Meek (Melissa) of Richmond, Eric Meek of Richmond, Tiffany Abbott of Richmond and Ali Gragg (Austin) of Independence; her grandchildren, Caidyn Meek, Bentlee Meek, Layton Meek, Ricky Russ, Hunter Russ, Caden Russ, Grayson Meek, Arabella Meek, Adrianna Abbott and Delaney Gragg; her nieces, Amanda Swartz (Johnny) and Katie Houser (Justin); her sister Jacquie Duffett (Kevin) of Richmond; and her pets, Peanut and Coco. She is also survived by her family and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Leukemia Society.
