He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Leroy and Kathryn Scowley (Kincaid); and his siblings, Peter Scowley and Kathy Hendrickson. He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Phipps of Kansas City; his children, John "Scott" Scowley (Megan Werle) of Kansas City and Erica Clough (Case) of Lone Jack; his granddaughter Collins Clough; and his wife Barb.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the United Christian Presbyterian Church or the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Higginsville.
