We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2021, at the age of 78, John Allen Taylor of Richmond, Missouri, born in Des Moines, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frederick and Ellen Taylor (Montgomery); and his brother-in-law Tom Grover. He is survived by: his wife Althea Ansell of Kansas City; his children, John Taylor (Rebecca) of Iowa, Patrick Taylor of San Diego, CA, Teresa Wolf (John) of Iowa and Michelle Collins of Iowa; his grandchildren, Joe Lauritson (Allie), Madison Lemon (Tanner), Izabella Taylor, John Taylor and Kameron Taylor; and his siblings, Joan Grover of Belleville, KS, Janet Taylor of Urbandale, IA, Debbie Canfield (Kelly) of Adele, IA, Ken Taylor (Nancy) of Clive, IA and Bernie Taylor (Kim) of Des Moines, IA.. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
