She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Grover" Swafford and Leotta "Marie" Swafford (Shaw); her siblings, Charles Swafford, Ed Lee Swafford and Marilyn Sue Roney; and her son-in-law Jimmie Wayne "Peepers" Hardwick.
She is survived by: her children, Harlene Bowman (Larry) of Richmond, Barbara Hardwick of Richmond and Jim O'Dell (Vicki) of Neosho. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family & friends.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to either the Richmond Christian Union Church or Ray County Library.
