It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Richard Park of Richmond, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Frederick and Ebba Park (Babe); his wife Erma Neona Shook of Kansas City; and his children, Peggy Brumfield (Nelson), Luana Bloom (David "Beau), Kristi McCoy (Paul), Phillip Sloan (Barbie) and Jeffrey Park (Terri). He was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the family, to purchase a memorial bench at Bennett Springs State Park or to the Ray County Masonic Lodge.
