He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Dee and Helen Elizabeth Jeffries (Karl); and his brothers-in-law, Jim Mullikin and Deon Williams. He is survived by: his children, Darrell Jeffries (Cheryl) of Higginsville and Jennifer Smith (Darrin) of Orrick; his grandchildren, Erin Morrison (Kyle), Natalie James (Josh), Brittany Jeffries (Jeyden Johnson), Tyson Jeffries, Thales Lathrop, Kyra Lathrop, Matthew Smith, Elijah Smith and Paige Smith; his great grandchildren, Aria, Emery and Lillian Morrison; and his sisters, Doris Ann Williams of Richmond and Linda Jane Mullikin of Richmond. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, special friends, and other extended family.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
