He was predeceased by: his parents, John McDonald and Mildred McDonald (Brown); and his siblings, Ray Brown, Charles Brown, Addie Mae Huff and Mildred Davis.
He is survived by: his brothers, J. C. Brown (Norma) of Excelsior Springs and Pernell McDonald of Topeka, KS; his aunt Vena Belle Smith of Atlanta, GA; and his close friend Karen Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
