He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Virginia Elizabeth Downs (Stillwell); his wife Linda Kay Phillips of Kearney; and his siblings, David Wayne Downs, Pat Downs, Pam Downs and Debbie Downs.
He is survived by: his son Troy Brockman of Kearney; and his siblings, James M. Downs (Patricia) of Richmond, Bill Downs of Orrick and Terry Downs of Richmond. He is also survived by wife.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Heart Association.
