Franklin Eugene Herod Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Eugene Herod of Richmond, Missouri, who passed away on June 3, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Thomas and Nealy Herod (Lyle); his wife Betty Sue Bellis of Richmond; his grandson Christopher Willard; and his siblings, Chester, Claud, George, John, Calvin, Elizabeth, Dorthy, Mable and Grace.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Wayne Herod of Highland Village, TX, Linda Sue Phillips (Richard) of Pittsburg, Connie Sue Smith (Tony) of Grand Pass, Nancy Ann Hisle (Kent) of Richmond and Rhonda Elaine (Lloyd) of Alva, OK; and his grandchildren, Monica, Kristen, Stacy, Joni and Kellie. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Excelsior Springs Church of the Nazarene.
