He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Kaye Franklin (Waterman); his sister Betty Prichard; his brother-in-law Ronald Hall; his children, Shelly Jeffries (Kevin), Shannon Franklin (Becky) and Michael Karl; his grandchildren, Bailee Wainscott (Kody), Maci Jeffries, Kanon Franklin (Haley), Mackenna Caldwell (Dylan), Sadie Clariday, Max Clariday, Kayla Nibarger (Robert), Tucker Karl, Brodie Karl, Sara Hall and Christopher Hall (Heather); his great grandchildren, Adalynn Wainscott, Hallie Wainscott, Cayden Nibarger, Blaine Nibarger, Hadley Nibarger, Delilah, Heidi Jo, Lilian, Dayton Palier, Bryer Hall and Kamden Hall; his close friends, Torri Wiegand and Kristy McBee (Justin); and also London.
The family suggest memorial donations in Ervins honor to either Mack Attack (for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation) or Shirkey Hospice.
