It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Taylor (Richmond, Missouri), born in Albia, Iowa, who passed away on September 11, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ellen Taylor to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband John; her grandson Drew Nour; her parents, Rose Montgomery and Joe Montgomery; and her sisters, Dorothy of Las Vegas and Iva of Chicago.

She is survived by: her children, Joan Grover (Tom) of Belleville, KS, John Taylor (Althea) of Richmond, MO, Ken Taylor (Nancy) of Clive, Janet Taylor of Urbandale, Bernie Taylor of Des Moines and Debby Canfield (Kelly) of Adel. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.

Ellen suffered a stroke in 2016, and has lived the past two years as a resident at Glen Oaks Alzheimer's Care Center in Urbandale.
