He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenard "Sox" and Geneva Evans (McCorkendale); his sons, Christopher E. Evans and Chad Louis Evans; his siblings, Tommy Evans and Sally Albert; and his grandson Chad Evans.
He is survived by: his former wife Darlene M. Schooling of Norborne; his son Curtis Evans of Norborne; his grandchildren, Kristy Hill, Kody Evans, Paige Evans and Tori Evans; his great grandchildren, Darion Bickham, Neveah Hill, Londynn Evans, Tysen Hill and Nixon Evans; and his sisters, Darlene Medley of Richmond and Betty Dickson of Richmond.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
