He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "Hank" Koch and Anna Koch; his wife Mary Lou Clevenger of Kansas City; and his siblings, Bill Koch and Francis Bunger.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Koch of Richmond, Robert W. Hoover (Cindy) of Raytown, Marilyn O'Dell of Richmond and Denna Casey of Lathrop; and his grandchildren, Michaela Clark (Luke), Michael Koch, Aaron O'Dell, Derek O'Dell, Skylar O'Dell (Jessica), Dustin Hash (Kristy), Daniel Hash (Lindsey), Delaney Sandstrom (Tim), Bobby Hoover, II (Melissa), Sylvia Hoover, Karissa Hoover, Nathan Hoover, Ashley Hoover, Talia Hoover and Mark Hoover. He is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
