He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Bernard and Alma Blaesing (Boller); and his siblings, Shirley Wilson Koenig, Lawrence, Jr., Robert and Ronald Blaesing. He was also cherished by siblings, friends, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred or donations to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
