She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Melvin Gallemore and Mildred Francis Reed Gallemore; and her significant other Bill of Independence. She is survived by: her children, William Garton George (Cynthia), Elizabeth Jane George Gromowsky (Betsy) and Robert Charles George (Heather); her grandchildren, Cristina Johnson (J. D.), Rachel George, Ryan George, Natalie Finley and Olivia Gromowsky; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Mason Johnson, Harper, Cash Finley and Arlo Gromowsky; her siblings, Gary Beissenherz (Judy), Judy Matthews (David) and Bill Beissenherz (Kay); her siblings-in-law, Algon D. George and Vicky George; and also Lexington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and, of course, dear friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Friends of the Farris, Shirkey Hospice and Palliative Care, or Donor's Choice.
