She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Cecil "Jack" and Rosa Beary (Patterson); her spouse Audrey Vernon "A. V." McCalley; and her sisters, Pauline LaGalle, Juanita Wade, Maxine Landis, Ruby White, Rosanna Fearing and Frances Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Erik E. Pointer (Sally) of Lexington, Jonathan P. Pointer (Traci Swartz) of Los Angeles, CA, Jack Edward Pointer Jr. (Jessica) of Fort Collins, CO and Rosanne Elise Pointer (Heidi Adams); her grandchildren, Nathan A. Pointer (Mikaela) of Olathe, KS, Meredith L. Maxwell (Jimmy) of Blue Springs and Harrison J. Pointer of Los Angeles, CA; and her great grandchildren, Noah Maxwell, Alexander Maxwell, Olivia Maxwell, Jackson Pointer and Amelia Pointer.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Ray County. Donations to any other animal welfare organization are also encouraged.
