She is survived by: her husband James Terry Gates; her sister-in-law Susan Curtin Bickel; her niece Kathleen Blanchard; her nephew John R. Bickel, Jr.; and her stepchildren, Wendy Gates Troxel and James Lee Gates. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at THE LUPTON CHAPEL, 7233 Delmar Blvd., University City 63130 on Saturday, November 9 at 1:00p.m. Gifts may be made in her memory to the Sisters of Loretto, Nerinx Hall, Webster University, or a favorite charity.
