It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rodger Dee Sloan of Richland, Missouri, born in Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Allyon Sloan and Virginia Bryce Usery Sloan; and his half-brother Virgil Ketcherside. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Lynn Hickey; his son Brandon Sweitzer (Heather) of Alton, Illinois; his stepdaughter Selena Montoya of Mendon, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Julina, Aiyana and Niklaus Sweitzer; and his half-sister Julie Karabec. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
