He is survived by: his parents, Garry Staton and Brenda Staton; his son Michael "Kai" Staton (Catherine) of Fort Bragg; his siblings, Garry Staton of Fayetteville, David Staton (Kimberly) of San Antonio, Texas, Sharon Walkup (Paul) of Neosho, Brenda Franklin of Rogers, Carolyn Staton of Van Buren and Rose Marie Rose (Mike); and his stepbrother John Jones of Maui.
