She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Eugene and Marceline Alice Wideman McMichael; and her son Timothy L. Covey. She is survived by: her husband Carl Covey of Rich Hill, Missouri; her daughters, Carla Toppass (Matt) of Rich Hill, Missouri and Shelly Schmitt (Jim) of Rich Hill, Missouri; her daughter-in-law Ferlinda Covey of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her siblings, Barbara Foster (James) of Smithville, Terri Candelaria (Gabe) of Arizona, Tammy Gaitan (Cornie) of Arizona, Patrick McMichael of Arizona and Mike McMichael (Barbara) of Independence, Missouri; her grandchildren, Emily Brucks (Michael), Caleb Schmitt (Tierra), Evelyn Toppass, Andrew Schmitt (Abbagail), Allie Siegismund (Levi), Joshua, Jacob, Jonathon and Joseph Covey; and her great grandchildren, J. Brucks and Elias Schmitt. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, many friends and her church family.
