We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2020, at the age of 85, Virgil Stiers of Rhineland, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Soup" R. Sr. and Hedwig Stiers (Boesmann); his wife Irma Schmidt; his former wife Irma Stiers; his children, Clyde David Stiers and Christy Stiers Rucker; and his siblings, Floraine Stiers, Edna Overkamp, Dorris Schwartz, Herman "Soup" Stiers, Jr. and Norman "Peanuts" Stiers.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Roodhouse (David) of Rhineland, Missouri, Paulette Stewart (Chris) of Charlotte, David "Butch" Stiers (Lori) of Rhineland, Missouri, Lisa Heying (Stanley) of Rhineland, Missouri, Calvin Stiers (Deb Kopmann) of Hermann, Bonnie Vandelicht (Tracy) of Fulton and Chad Stiers (Megan) of Hermann; and his close friend Marilyn Carver of Rhineland. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
Memorials may be given to St. Marcus Cemetery or Rhineland Fire Dept.
