He was predeceased by: his father Lester W. Frye; and his brother Clinton Frye. He is survived by: his mother Helen C. Frye (Mosley) of Hermann, Missouri; and his brother Randy Frye (Suzie) of Hermann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be given to Bethany Cemetery.
