He is survived by: his children, Anita Ruga of Rhineland, Beverly (Kevin McMeel) of Cape Girardeau, Tom (Janet) of Rhineland, Christine (John Rost) of Broken Arrow, OK and Michelle (Kirby Kotthoff) of Hermann; his grandchildren, Brendan, Jacinda McMeel, Ben Ruga, Mikaela Ruga, Heather (Michael Means), Hannah (Alex Galvan), Emily (Matthew Hildebrand), Clarie (Tyler Kuhn) and Maggie Kotthoff; his great grandchild Vivenne Means; and his friend George Seper.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. George Church (128 W 4th St, Hermann, MO 65041). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Martin's Church.
