She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett H. Schlatt and Veronica M. Schlatt (Bruckerhoff); her spouse Severn D. Heying; and her brother Melvin Schlatt. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Deppe (Derald) of Pershing, Missouri, Stanley Heying (Lisa) of Rhineland, Missouri, Renee Ziegler (Joseph) of Kirkwood, Missouri and Everett Heying (Kelli) of Shawnee, Kansas; her grandchildren, Heather, Julianna, Shaun, Wes, Alison, Bryan, Cameron and Seth; and her stepgrandchild Jamie. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer or Church of the Risen Savior.
