He was predeceased by: his parents, William Monroe Thomas and Laura Thomas (Brandis); his wife Georgia Rae Thomas (Brashear); and his siblings, William Thomas, Carl Thomas, Robert Thomas, Jeanne Epperson and Shirley Young.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Lynn Moore of Rhineland and Tammy D. Cox.
