He was predeceased by: his parents, Wortha Eston and Hattie LaVerne Wallingford (Peacock); his wife Gladys Ann Brewer; his in-laws, Ray Wilbert and Gladys Faye Brewer; his aunt Mary Brewer; his siblings, Vera Yates (Raymond), Mabel Lee (Ivan), Helen Seth (Harley), Charles Wallingford (Louise) and Lois Rider (Paul); and his sister-in-law Lois Tanner (George).
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Elwell (Stanley), Bonnie Martin (Buddy), Mark Wallingford (Ellen Wilson), Brenda Leffler (Ruben) and Richard Wallingford (Anna); his grandchildren, Brian Elwell (Lesley) of Overland Park, William Elwell (Brittney Hardin) of Germantown Hills, Rob Elwell (Jennifer) of Melbourne, Tressa Sharkey (Kalin) of Columbia, Tara Klepfer (Nathan) of Ashland, Megan Zook (Aaron) of Philadelphia, Mykel Martin (Melea) of Kahoka, Jason Wallingford (Linda) of Maywood, Tisha Patterson (Troy) of Monroe City, Jenette Hurayt (Justin) of Foristell, Jenelle French (David) of Olathe, Brandon Leffler (Claudia) of Cape Girardeau, Tyson Wallingford of Revere and Ashley Kerr (Brandon) of St. Charles, Missouri; his nephews, Dean Wallingford and Steve Rider; and his niece Janet Elliott. He is also survived by twenty-seven great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
