He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. French and Ardis L. French (Post); and his in-laws, Delbert and Maxine Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Angie L. French (Gilbert); his sons, Jeff VanMeter (Susan) of Arlington, TX. and Erick VanMeter (Amanda) of Fort Smith, AR.; his siblings, Robert French, Douglas French and Elizabeth Bild (Charles); and his grandchildren, Haylie VanMeter and Dalen VanMeter. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson and Triplett Funeral Home (975 E Main St, Kahoka, MO 63445).
