She was predeceased by: her parents, Sheral "Gose" Garoutte and Katherine Lois Garoutte (Hicks); and her husband James. She is survived by: her sons, Doug (Corey McKnight) of Springfield and Todd (Richelle) of Republic; her grandchildren, Jhon, Jewel, King, Katherine and Sheral; and her friends, Donna Freeman, Janet Thompson, Lou Compton and Paula Howell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meadors Funeral Home - Republic Chapel (314 N Main Ave, Republic, MO 65738). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (443 N Main St, Republic, MO 65738).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that a donation to the local Rainbow Assembly.
