He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Eveland and Marie Eveland; his brothers, Harry, Raymond, George and John; and his parents-in-law, Verna and Don Bates of Guthrie Center, Iowa..
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Marie; his wife Sharon Lee Bates of Guthrie Center, IA; his children, Tina Fulbright (Doug) of Mt. Vernon and Robert Eveland Jr. of Kansas City; his grandchildren, Isaiah, Tyler (Alex), MaryGrace and Phoebe; his great grandchildren, Taryn, Gracie, Jax, Jackson and Ariella; and his sisters, Ladonna Arrowood and Sharon Kay Miller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Pete's memory to the Republic Senior Center.
