He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Hansen and Edna Hansen (Saunders). He is survived by: his sister Grace C. Brown of Springfield; his nephew Brown (Mary); and his niece Carolyn Haden (Tobie). He is also survived by one great-great niece and one great-great nephew as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Due to the ongoing restrictions stemming from the Corona Virus, Graveside services will be held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Republic, Mo.

“growing up one house away from pete we knew each other from early on. Never a dull moment with pete. He could relate stories of his life that did amaze many of us. He led a full life and enjoyed all of it. Fishing was his greatest joy. For one, i will miss my phone calls and times of prayer with pete. Attached is a photo taken at reeds springs with mike, pedro, bill and pete. Taken by my brother tim. Rest well my friend.”
