She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Sparkman and Sallie Sparkman; her husband Charles Fuhr; her siblings, John, Ross Jr. and Marjorie Davis; her son-in-law Paul Steward; and her great grandchild Nathanael Bruner.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Fuhr (Cheryl), Judee Steward and Karen Foster (Robert); her sister Mary James; her sisters-in-law, Burma Jean Sparkman, Gladys and Edith Fuhr; her grandchildren, Cynthia Spaethe (Greg), Mark Bruner (Angie), Matthew Bruner (Kara), Jason Foster (Amy), Jennifer Finke (Kyle), Jessica Brown (Joshua), Chad Neal and Cindy Nimmo; and her stepchildren, Jeremiah Steward and Ginger Weaver. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Great Depression, her home being destroyed by fire and another by a tornado; wars from WWII to present, and most recently she survived Covid.
