With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynn Alton Gilbert of Republic, Missouri, who passed away on March 3, 2025 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lynn Alton is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lynn Alton's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Khloe June, Korbin Houston and Karley Lynn Clines; and his brother Louis Ray Gilbert, Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Louis Ray Gilbert, Sr. and Lyla Stafford Pack; his wife Angela Trogdon Gilbert; and his sisters, Lori Gilbert and Liberty Gilbert Long. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. (2001 W Walnut Lawn St, Springfield, MO 65807). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Rock Prairie Cemetery (6012 Lawrence 1242, Ash Grove, MO 65664).
